What happened to British comedy?

The League of Gentlemen, The Mighty Boosh, Garth Marenghi's Darkplace, Jam, Nathan Barely.. so many surreal comedies but now nothing.

Nobody is investing in British tv at the moment.
Plus the moving of BBC3 to youtube, probably means it's harder for comedy to be seen in a wider context.
Some great stand-up stuff from 'Live at the Appolo' but as for surreal comedy, may have had it's time.

@Picklebobble2: it'll come back around, I mean these people where evidently inspired by the silliness of the Monty Python lot.

BBC3 has been terrible for a long time. It used to be cool at the start.
