i think part of it is you stil cannot show violence and women... a hero brutally beating up a women cant be shown in tv... other way around it works...
@IlovePeaches: not at all, you are right on the money. It also depends on the director too. Before the movie Alien was released, they originally wanted Ripley to be a man. If that happened I don't think the film would have been successful. So there you have it 😀
