@DeadCowboy: Yeah but we're living in a generation where everything runs with technology. My essays have to be written via Microsoft word which means i need a laptop... We've got to go with the time.

@Meeeemzi: when I said desktop, I meant a desktop based computer. I'm not saying don't use technology at all, just use it where it fits best. there've been studies that suggest that taking notes by hand in classes vastly improves student recall over typing. and a large phone you could use to also record and later review your lectures.

well buy a cheaper one for like 500 because its a waste of money to buy a pricy pc if you only use it for the internet and essays and if you don't use it on the go please just buy a good desk pc
