Carrie | Did you watch it? 📺
I enjoyed every bit of it. Now, I tried to watch "Carrie" when I was 7, and my Dad taught me a good lesson for daring to insert the VHS tape into the player and attempting to watch an R-rated movie. Well, I finally watched the movie when I was 17, and I really enjoyed watching the movie. Carrie (1976) is a cult-classic movie. Now, the moment I learnt that there's a series based on the cult classic, it was enough to convince me to watch it. Now, I finished watching it last night, and I literally gave a standing ovation to it during the final credits roll. Good job, Mr Flanagan! You deserve applauses. Utterly grateful to the horror-legend "Stephen King" for giving "Carrie" to the world. Infinite respect for him. Again, some of us may have a different opinion about "Carrie" (the movie and series), Mike Flanagan and the living legend Stephen King. It's fine if you beg to differ. I have nothing against your opinion. Choices and opinions vary from person to person.
Summer H. Howell, you did a phenomenal job, young lady! 🙇 God bless you...🙏 Keep rising and shining! 🌞
The transition of Carrieta White (the sweet, innocent and kind-hearted child disconnected from the world around her) from entering into the school to a being (full of rage) with superpowers. Alison Thornton did a great job as Christine Hargensen/Chris (the main reason for turning Carrie into something is not). Thalia Dudek as Emaline West, the astral projector (with other unknown powers), was good too. Samantha Sloyan as Carrie's mother did good too. As a mother, she highlights certain concerns about the state of the society today, and they are worth listening to, but then I also do not appreciate or support the idea of keeping the children disconnected from the world around them just because you believe everything around you is evil and is not good for your child. I mean, overall it was worth watching. If you have seen the original "Carrie" movie, then the climax of this series is no less than the original. The series is worth binge-watching. I am not a binge-watcher. I watched two episodes each day. It is completely up to you how you wish to watch the series. If you are a fan of the original movie, then you must watch this new series.
Now, let's hear your opinion about the show. 😇
