What do I miss now?

Ever wondered why there are less good movies coming out? Not that there none, no, last year's Black Bag was one for example. But looking back there's indeed less. Great movie directors like Tony Scott and actors like Robert Redford had a whole list of really great ones. Spy Game (2001) is my own favourite Tony Scott movie.

One might ask after viewing the movie what happened next to Robert Redford's movie character Nathan Muir. Well, I like to think that nothing bad happened and that he lived as peaceful as he could; although, not in the Bahamas as he had planned. He was clever enough to leave no real evidence trail of planning his rogue operation to rescue his friend Bishop. Morever, in no way did he spend all his savings on the operation, and everyone else probably wanted to forget all about it as soon as possible. No, he was sipping his scotch while enjoying the sun somewhere equally nice as the Bahamas.

Most are horror movies now.

@Degbeme Yes, you're right but I don't like the really creepy and bloody ones. Seen the trailer for The Other Mommy yet?

@val70 That`s just it. Too much blood and gore. No I haven`t seen that trailer yet

Most of the movies I watch were made in the 1940s-50s and are in black&white. Film Noir and scifi/monster movies. I haven't been to a movie theatre since 2001.
