I watched don't look up again

In the first time it was crazy scary movie but the second time I found it a bit stupid, specially since I found it it's scientifically impossible for this scenario to happen, they detect such things decades before they happen not six months, I would have plenty of time to prepare for the end of the world, not six months it's not enough time at all, and why is half of it music and singing and theatrics? Some of the people in the movie seemed so unserious.
