I saw it as a kid. If I saw it as an adult I would lose a lot of respect for Bowie. His acting in that was terrible. Way better cameo in Zoolander.

I love Labyrinth.

That being said I can see how younger generations could dismiss it as it was definitely a product of it's time. Try The Secret of NIMH and The Dark Crystal and I'll assume you'll get the same reaction.
