Are there characters you could only imagine portrayed by specific actors…forever ?

Even if that actor is no longer with us ? Would seeing the character played by someone else be an adjustment ?

For me, Superman will always be

The late Christopher Reeve

The Black Panther will always be

The late Chadwick Boseman

Sherlock Holmes will always be

The late Jeremy Brett

And the X-Man Wolverine is

Hugh Jackman

I agree with all of these, although Dean Cain was a good younger Superman, I thought. (Let's forget his politics.) Reeve was a big loss to the franchise and to acting generally, becoming a person to be admired after his tragic accident.
