Burn the Heretic!!! OK. Turning the Hobbit into three movies was a travesty. It should have been one..
But the actual 3 Lord of the Rings movies were at least a solid 8.5. Some minor deviations from the books the purists wont like. And that latent gay thing between Frodo and Sam.. But a faithful rendering..😷

@whowasthatmaskedman Could not disagree more. I practically fell asleep. I'd give it on a scale of 1-10 an extremely modest 3 for not the worst tthing I've ever watched but christ almighty was this snooze fest overrated. the films were mid at best. Literally could not have cared less about Frodo and Sam.
Such whiny little fucks. annoying as fuck. LOTR lives or dies by having likable characters, if you're in different to them what does it matter who gets the ring? There's no stakes if you don't like the characters sauron would oppress,because you wouldn't mind him getting it. You just don't care.

@PDXNative1986 OK. I think we can settle on "creative differences". I loved the books as a teenager and read them in order. The Hobbit first. And the characters were "distant" From a distant time, a far off land and differing races to each other..😷

You might have heard of it, The wheel of time, Frankly, I could wipe my ass with a copy of those films, and it's not that I don't love fantasy. Hugeeeeeeeee Song of ice and fire and Wheel of time fan, but Tolkien has long since been surpassed and his little cult of fanboys welll
