I dont like fantasy lord of the rings type media because I think its going way too far from reality

Also they always talk about how old the world is but it only took humans 500 years for us to go from swords and fantasy medieval type living to the industrial revolution and the internet.

Also they always have the same kind of archetypes. You already know how elves, goblins, and dwarves are expected to act.
