"'Silence of the Lambs' star Ted Levine denounces his legendary villain role after transgender criticism"

Ridiculous! People have made this man who portrayed a deeply sick individual extremely well is being made to feel bad about it. Who gives a crap if he was transgender or a transvestite? The point was that he was unstable and did psychotic and weird stuff! Nobody is saying that he did it because he was trying to become a woman.

This is as stupid as that Sharon Stone movie and the gay community went nuts because they felt that people were saying that the movie was stating that a lesbian had to be the murderer. And the movie sucked and people still talk about it too much.

Maybe the straight men in the world should go nuts every time a gay man plays a straight man....

It was a well made movie

Why is there no backlash from the straight community when a straight person does horrible things?
@Pretzel i just don't understand why anyone feels it necessary to apologize for greatness? he did a brilliant job of playing a psychopath. it really didn't matter whether or not he was part of some LQBT group or not....and people who think of themselves as in that group should stop halting people from showing them in some light where they are just as crazy as the rest of us.

What? do they think that they are more sane than everyone else? how arrogant?
