Just started watching The Witcher on Netflix. Three episodes in and whiles it’s good is it true it gets alot better in the second season?

The second season starts to stray from the books, so many found that that began the downfall of the show. The first season does get better though. And there’s some really cool moments in the second season. That’s about it but it honestly different for everyone.
