What does a fire stick do differently than using the apps on my TV?

I've always wondered what these are for.

You have access to Live TV as well if you do not use DTH. It has games for kids (Basic platforming and strategy) as well. It's not worth it if you own an Android TV. If you have an old smart TV, then you may think of buying one.😇
