Something that used to freak me out - just was reminded of this on youtube

If you're old enough to remember there was a public service announcement that came on at 10:00 p.m. right before the news.

It said (I kid you not)

"It's 10:00 p.m. do you know where your children are?"

It was like..."do you ever talk to your little munchkins?"

I remember those very well, they were a standard at the time. Sadly, may parents couldn't answer the question with a, "Yes, I do know where they are". Which, I guess, was the whole point of the PSAs. These days local towns seem to go in for teen curfews and fining parents if their kids aren't home by 10:00 p.m.
