Have you watched any really good old movies lately?

Lately, I've been on an old movie kick. Here are a few I've seen in the last few months

North By Northwest
The Ghost and Mr. Chicken
The Birds
Abbot and Costello Meet Frankinstine
DOA
The Long, Long, Long Trailer
one of the Ma and Pa Kettle movies
High Plains Drifter

Finding a good movie made that's been made recently is proving more and more difficult anymore.

Citizen Kane
The "Thin Man" movies.
Hope/Crosby's 'On the Road' movies

And there is one that is on my mind these days because of one scene. The movie is "High Society", from 1956. At the end of the movie, there is a scene which addresses the subject of consent, and how a man should conduct himself when the woman he is with gets drunk. I think a lot of men today ought to listen to Frank Sinatra's little speech about "there are rules about that sort of thing." From the "unenlightened" 1950's.

@DrWatson I've seen Citizen Kane, but I don't recall ever hearing of The Thin Man Movies.

@LadyBronte The chemistry between William Powell and Myrna Loy, as a married couple solving crimes together is really fun.

@DrWatson Myrna Loy's dresses and her and Powell's witty badinage makes me hanker for an adulthood decades earlier (while conveniently evading the flu epidemic, WW I, the market crash and the dust bowl, but after the development of reliable anesthesia.)
