Have you watched any really good old movies lately?

Lately, I've been on an old movie kick. Here are a few I've seen in the last few months

North By Northwest
The Ghost and Mr. Chicken
The Birds
Abbot and Costello Meet Frankinstine
DOA
The Long, Long, Long Trailer
one of the Ma and Pa Kettle movies
High Plains Drifter

Finding a good movie made that's been made recently is proving more and more difficult anymore.

I love the 1930s. Always have. I love how dreamlike those films were

1. Dinner at eight
2. Angel (With Marlena Dietrich)
3. Blonde Venus
4. Dancing lady (Love the soundtrack)
5. The Women
6. My man Godfrey
7. Search for Beauty
8.Divorcee

That last one- Divorcee with Norma Shearer is a must watch! She conveys such vulnerability. And I love it when these fabulous movies feel human for a change.

@Bignakedguy Thanks! Quite a list! I've seen a couple of those - Godfrey and Dinner @ 8 - but I don't think all of them. Thanks! They're all going on my list!
