I really didn't care for this movie, but I love Katharine Hepburn,so I watched a little bit of it. She said one thing in this movie that has stuck with me ever since I watched a bit of it..
She was talking to the man she wanted to hire to kill her, and she said.
"The first time I tried it (To kill myself)
The doctors discovered
a problem with my heart,
ordered complete bed rest.
I started running
up and down stairs,
doing exercises,
overdoing everything,
just got
healthier than ever.
No heart problems since."

@phoenixrisingI don't think you are missing anything. I didn't watch it after I figured out that she wanted to put an end to her life. Most of the movies I have seen her in, she has been a real strong character, so I guess that is what I was hoping to see in this movie as well. The movie might get better if you watch it all the way through, but I will never know. :-)
Update- Well, I read it, and it was pretty much what I thought it would be about. I doubt I will watch any more of it, but thanks again for the great idea! :-)
