Went to watch Fantastic Four tonight (no spoilers)

Took myself to the cinema to watch Fantastic Four.

No spoilers, but it was quite enjoyable. Had a different feel to most MCU films of late. Will be interesting to see where they go with them going forward.

@BloviatingBuffoon I've not seen Superman yet. I already know that DC will have bloated that film out with far too many stories happening at the same time (again).

@Mikeawesome1986 I watched it with my family and it is pretty good imo. I don’t know if I will be able to watch f4 or if it is worth watching on big screeen

@BloviatingBuffoon I'll be honest. I don't know how many times I need to see an origin story for Superman or Batman.

I think I've seen Batman's parents get killed in so many different ways in that alley, that I've lost sense of which film is which.

DC bloat their films too much and give up on ideas and restart. This isn't me just hating on DC, I actually quite like them, but their film management has been terrible.

@Mikeawesome1986 this new Superman movie just jumps into the story and not his origin story thank god.
I am tired of having to watch superheroes ‘ origin story in a movie.

@BloviatingBuffoon ok, well that's good to know, because yeah, how many times do we need to see Batman's parents (Martha 😭) and Uncle Ben get killed, as well as Superman landing on Earth...

Fantastic Four is another that just gets into it. The accident has already happened and they are comfortable with their abilities.
