No I have not.
I did have the opportunity to be an extra in a live production of the Metropolitan Opera when they were on the road ("extras" are called "supernumeraries" in the opera world.) The mother of a college friend worked for the Met, and she was in charge of hiring locals for that purpose when the Met traveled to Boston. So she asked her son to ask his friends, and he asked me whether I would be interested. I would have loved to have done it, but I had a conflict that weekend. Ironically, I was in a play on campus!
