Broadcast TV

Does broadcast tv still exist? I have internet but no cable subscription for almost 10 years. When I talk about things i used to watch on tv people act like I'm making it up.

Yes it still exists, although since transmissions switched from analog to digital the broadcast range is less than what it was.

We still have a roof antenna on our house and a digital-to-analog converter box, so we can still watch TV on our old cathode-ray-tube television, but often the stations do not come it, because we live a little too far away from the Twin Cities, where the stations broadcast from.
