Any as long as it doesn't have that weird Vlad the Impaler love story backdrop...

Go on fess up tell us which one of you American's thought it was a clever idea to call it 'Bram Stoker's' Dracula and have Keanu Reeves in? Tell us so us Brits can drag them through the cobbled streets then burn them alive at the stake or something LMAO🤣

Not that I mind the movie it's just Dracula is a Count of the Szekelys a Hungarian warlord (not a Romania prince) cause Transylvania was in Hungry when the book was written and now we've gotta put up with 'Dracula Untold' why couldn't someone of just read the novel first FFS?

Anyway I do like the Bela Lugosi one, a couple of the Christopher Lee films are ok and the BBC made for TV version from the 70s is ok in a made for TV sorta way John🙂

@AdaXI The Lugosi film is a combination of adaptions from the novel and stage play.

Dracula Untold was different. It had its good points. Historical accuracy is often tossed out the window in many films.
DU left open a chance for a sequel.

Every watch '36 Dracula's Daughter with Gloria Holden?

@JSul3 I just mean when they make a film and call it Bram Stoker's Dracula rather than Dracula in Love or something more fitting it implies that's the definitive version (the one Bram wrote) and with that they've completely changed the dynamics of the character.

From one that was made up of bits and pieces of fork lore and history just cobbled together to now implying he's Vlad III and rewriting the Counts backstory. Then rewriting Vlad III's history while also rewriting Romanian history, while also rewriting Hungarian history... While also rewriting... It's like a chain reaction LOLZ😆

And I'm largely just taking the mick how things kinda get bent outta shape really easy. I mean one minute we've got this dark Gothic horror story then the next minute we got Romeo and Juliet Untold and like the revised Dracula (aka Vlad III the guy famous for impaling people with sticks) is now a sorta good guy who's just a bit down on his luck, LMAO🤣

But it is what it is that's just the way it's rolled and yeah I only saw Lugosi one a few months back and as far as sorta keeping with the novel I was surprised how faithful an adaption it was given it was only like 80-90 minutes long they just had to scale a few scenes down. Like don't think they make the run back to Transylvania a few characters got wrote out but yeah very eerie and I liked it a lot.

Not seen Dracula's Daughter though my friend🙂
