The problem with all of this (at least in 49 of the 50 US States), is that we've become extremely comfortable with the use of our 'electronic gadgets'. Now, with Alaska being the Biggest State, over 90% of the Electronic Gadgets are not necessary for survival there.

@Alisha233 I didn't say it was easier to live in. Outside of a good weather capable radio and a shortwave radio; a cell phone, television, or a computer is of little use. A wind turbine that generates electricity is much more desirable than most other fossil fuel generators.
