Watching Die Hard for the first time

Right off the bat, McClane annoyed me with that argument with his wife during what could have been a sweet moment. Good thing all the interesting stuff that happens afterwards makes up for it.

(You’re ruining Christmas, John! You’re lucky Hans ruins it worse… 😫)

It was a little jarring. He comes all that way to surprise her only to find out she isn’t telling people at work that she’s married. It just demonstrated that you can have problems in loving marriage.
