Claudine is a great performance for Jones - it was lost on many because it was considered a blaxploitation movie and whites did not see this sub genre much in the 1970s. The same can be said for Bing Long. and even The Great White Hope - for which he was nominated for an Academy award.

"Cry, the beloved Country" was the book prescribed in school. I got my schooling in South Africa with my final year being in 1996. I tried to post a link from my bookmarks, but it has been taken down from YouTube due to copyright violation.
