This is one of the best of the Czech New Wave, a dazzling visual feast, a lot of snazzy toe tapping scenes, music, and colorful visuals, editing and so on. As the pic shows i don't have the CC Blu-ray, this is the Eclipse disc which is paired on the same disc with another film. My favorite scene is when there's a bit from Brahms' Requiem, while the 2 ladies are on the phone with a guy and their cutting fruit and burning stuff. It's just a pure gem of a film, and shows how fun arthouse films can be. It caused a bit of controversy for how much food they wasted while making it, during that showstopping scene where they're in a banquet kind of room the tables are full of food and liquor and their just having the time of their lives, doing a fashion show thing just for themselves. Anarchic and fun, this is basically about not giving an F and having your kicks before the end. LOVE it!!
