Do you love the golden oldies?

Google says:
"Classic films are so enduring that they connect with audiences on a deep emotional level. Despite being made decades ago, these films still resonate with people today. The themes of love, loss, and tenacity are timeless and transcend the boundaries of time and space."

This is true. But anything with Burt Lancaster in is a bonus for me.

Probably top of my classic oldies is Casablanca

Yep, and didn't Sam play it well? 😄

@Ceitidh You know the character played by Peter Lorre - Ugarte? I once had plans to open a Moroccan-themed cafe-bar called Ugarte.

@ArtieKat That would have been a great idea! You could have had a big poster of him up to show where the name originated from. We have one near where I live. Not been there though. Mind you, you name it, you can find a place to eat it in London.

@Ceitidh Yep! Talking about my age - I remember when the very first Maccy D's opened in London lol

@ArtieKat "Play La' Marseille. I said play it!"

You can tell when a scene is so movingly good it gets ripped off in other films. (Copied in Escape to Victory).

@ArtieKat I love their banana milkshakes.
