Pop culture references or commentary on current society. I like to escape reality in TV/Movies, I'm not looking for commentary on it. Unless I know it's specifically that kind of movie going in.
@DDonde YESS, I've mentioned that one a post somewhere. I think it's one reason why I like movies set in decades from long ago. No current-day references, and if there is a "current" reference made from decades ago, I wouldn't get the joke anyway lol
