Mom was a stickler for musicals. Singing in the rain was one of her favorites.
My dad liked bond films.
They used to take us to the drive-in. I only remember "cleopatra". I ended up going to sleep in the rear window legde(remember those?)
The last film they saw together was "the graduade".

My sister, parents and I saw the early 1950s version of Samson and Delilah (at my fervent urging!) at a drive-in in cottage country (Ontario) in the 1960s. They hated it but I loved it when Samson brought down the temple LOL
