My two favorite westerns (a genre I don’t love, on principle) are "Once Upon A Time In The West" and
"Silverado".

The first one (I like going by memory rather than googling) - is that the one where Henry Fonda chucks the honorable man image and blows away a kid?
@RenFur Yes ! Henry Fonda playing a bad guy is mind-blowing ! 😳

A genre you don't love - on principle? Ever see Dead Man (1995) with Johnny Depp? You may like it. It is unconventional to say the least.

No kidding!. Especially since he was so memorable and upstanding in The Ox-Bow Incident.
@RenFur I haven’t seen that one. But the western shows I grew up with had problematic storylines around Native Americans.

Then you MUST watch Dead Man (1995). I knew you were going to reference what you did.

@RenFur I’ll have to look for it. The mind blowing thing about Silverado is the reminder that Kevin Costner was once a young man.

The ominously crazy theme music for Jeff Fahey’s character is another nice touch.

Fahey was in one of the Psycho remakes... solid actor.
@RenFur Thank you. I’ll check it out.
