What British comedies are your favourites?

I've watched quite a few of the old Carry On films that were mostly funny from the 60s, but lost something in their later ones.

I classify Pygmalion as a romantic comedy.

Leslie Howard ( the simp Ashley from GWTW) and Wendy Hiller are in top form as Prof Higgins and Eliza Doolittle in this 1930's effort
