Corporate and investor greed strikes again

Here we go again. Cable came about and became popular because it gave the consumer variety, NO commercials and you could get it rather inexpensively.

Then cable and its investors got greedy, and content turned to crap. Then came streaming.

Guess what? Same thing again. Corporations and investors are getting greedy again. Content has turned to 90% crap and commercials, here we come, plus, oh joy, price hikes too.

Netflix is just the latest at the greed game.

Yep, I'm about done with it.

This is why I never got rid of my DVD's.

People smile when they hear I have them ....SO OLDSCHOOL ...outdated, "why don't you just stream?, we have Netflix, bing, stan"... blah blah blah .

Yep, and how much is that a week ?...month ?
And how much of it is crap ?

Not that I dont stream, I do - but I only stream one at a time. I do it over completely and when I've watched all the good stuff, I change to another streaming service and do the same.

Ads don't really bother me ...they are toilet breaks or snack breaks 馃....or SW breaks .

@OogieBoogie Yeah, I regret getting rid of my DVD player and what DVDs I had. I'm going to buy one and get old school again.

I've got Amazon Prime because I use the heck out of their shipping and I'll keep that. Netflix though, I'm done with them. 99% of what they have is old or foreign and badly dubbed or subtitled.

I'll continue with Amazon and the three free ones I use. Buy a new player and buy movies as I want them.
