Anyone watching the Twilight Zone marathon on the SyFy channel today?

What are your favorite episodes?
I used to catch that marathon when I had cable. I like the one where everyone had pig faces but the gorgeous woman thought she was hideous because she didn’t look like them.

@Colonelmustardseed

The Masks.

Eye of the Beholder.
IM5688 · 61-69, M
@JSul3 I remember those two also. Not two of my favorites, but they were good nevertheless.
JSul3 · 70-79
@IM5688 So many good episodes, I can't list them all.
I have the complete series set and love it.
Pretzel · 61-69, M
the one with burgess meredith as a bookworm

and the one with the guy on an asteroid as punishment for a crime - and the supply ship brings a robot for company
IM5688 · 61-69, M
@Pretzel There were several episodes with Burgess Meredith which were all very good.
Time Enough at Last - the one where he was the bookworm, sole survivor of the world.
The Obsolete Man - the state ruling gov't declares him to be obsolete
Dingle the Strong - where aliens give him exceptional strength and intelligence as a test.

The other episode you mentioned is also one of my favorites.
Pretzel · 61-69, M
@IM5688 I remembered Time Enough at Last - but had forgotten the other two - thanks for the reminder!
JSul3 · 70-79
@Pretzel Guy on the asteroid and was given a female robot was titled The Lonely, starring Jack Warden.
Bignakedguy · 31-35, M
There’s 2 but I don’t know the names of the episodes

The mannequin one

And

The one with that one lady driving and she keeps seeing the same man over and over again
iamnikki · 31-35, F
@Bignakedguy yess, love the mannequin one. That's one of the first ones I remember seeing when I was a kid
JSul3 · 70-79
@Bignakedguy The After Hours with Anne Francis.

The Hitch Hiker with Inger Stevens.
iamnikki · 31-35, F
No, because it's available on several of my streaming services so I watch when I want 🙂
"Kick the Can"

Jack Klugman was in several episodes:
A Passage for Trumpet, A Game of Pool (with Jonathan Winters), and In Praise of Pip (with Billy Mumy).

I watched In Praise of Pip. It was shot in '62 and Jack is a bookie who has just been notified that his son has been seriously wounded in Vietnam.

For you fans of the Halloween films, our friend Dr. Loomis aka Donald Pleasance stars as a teacher forced to retire in The Changing of the Guard.

Will the Real Martian Please Stand Up?

But I can just stream it on Prime Video, so the SyFy marathon has jumped the shark.
JSul3 · 70-79
@RedBaron Love those too!

Also, The Grave with Lee Marvin.

@JSul3 The painting in The Midnight Sun is described as being of a waterfall near Ithaca, NY.

Rod Serling lived in Interlaken, a few miles north of Ithaca on the western shore of Cayuga Lake, and the waterfall is Taughannock Falls, the tallest free-falling waterfall east of the Mississippi River and 33 feet higher than Niagara Falls.

There are many references to the Ithaca/Cayuga Lake region in the series, including the name on the side of the bus outside the diner in Real Martian and Cayuga Productions, Serling’s production company shown in the closing credits for each episode.
IM5688 · 61-69, M
@RedBaron Wow. I didn't know those facts. Thanks for the information to add to my trivia knowledge.
1olderguy20 · 61-69, M
I am but they are not showing season 4 1 hour episodes. The best one is burgess merridith as the devil
RedBaron · M
@1olderguy20 Wasn’t that season 3?

Just go stream them on Prime Video or another app.
JSul3 · 70-79
@RedBaron Season 4, episode 7.
RedBaron · M
@JSul3 You are correct. Actually, all 18 season 4 episodes are about 51 minutes.

Not watching, but The Arrival is my favorite.

uncalled4 · 56-60, M
All I have to do is say "Willoughby!" and my gf gets spooked.
IM5688 · 61-69, M
@uncalled4 Love that one too, "Next stop, Willoughby."
JSul3 · 70-79
@uncalled4 Willoughby. & Sons Funeral Home.
