One movie I have probably watched more than any other, and still discover new things, is Contact,

Professor Carl Sagan wrote the most perfect SciFi book, which was turned into the most perfect SciFi movie.

@LunadelobosIAMTHEDRAGON Oh I don't know.
Don't inspirers go on to inspire others ?
In time maybe people will come to see Degrasse Tyson or Brian Cox or Michio Kaku in the same way 😃

YES. They absolutely, a gazillion percent, do!

I don't even love Stephen even though he had less of an ego than Neil... I hope one day there will be someone who is as humble, kind, wise and not egocentric as Carl.

..Ironically, Carl says that we are all geocentric .. :) He is pretty cool.
@LunadelobosIAMTHEDRAGON I liked Stephen Hawking for his sense of humor despite his being prisoner inside his own body, specially when he announced his party for time travelers, the day after he held it, he was also deeply afraid of Artificial lntelligence, as we're now discovering that he was right with everything he predicted about it.
@NativePortlander1970 In one of her books Shirley M. said he had a terrific sense of humour
and he was also in at least one ST Next Generation Episode.

What you said, it rings a bell. I read it a while ago, about him and AI.
@LunadelobosIAMTHEDRAGON Professor Hawking also did a few hilarious cameos on the Big Bang Theory as well :)
