Not truly scary but a far too often IMO overlooked Universal classic. The Werewolf of London. Done in 1935 prior to Lon Chaney as The Wolf man.

My favorite would be Chucky. I just watch his Documentary just last night. Hard to believe the original movie all most didn't happen.

Scary movie is up there for me actually, i do like halloween and i watched the new IT but it felt a bit over done
I don't much like horror movies, but 'the cabin in the woods ' worked for me
