I've never seen it but I like stories like this. I saw the movie with Nicole Kidman that I think was based off of this.

@SpudMuffin No, I haven't seen that. The one I'm thinking of is where people can't go to sleep or they get taken over by... a virus from space, I think. She has a son who is immune so they can use his blood for a cure but the turned people find out and start coming after them.
