How do you wish they would have ended your favorite show?

Northern Exposure should’ve ended after Joel Fleischman made his mystical transport to New York, the 15th episode of the last season, more than halfway through the season-or he should’ve Ben brought back in cameo for the last episode. The decline during that 6th season was [i]sharp[/i].

@SevIsPamprinYouAlways thank you for your input. i tried to watch that show and i just couldn't get into it.

The reason i asked this question is that they end these shows and then they come back and destroy the ending with these extra seasons. it is stupid.

the only truly great ending to a show was Newhart. the last 5 minutes where they claim it was all a dream and that he was still with Susanne Pleshette. i actually screamed.

@DIABLISS Yeah, it was either loved to distraction, or loathed! It found it’s sweet spot on Monday nights at 10pm, though, back when cable wasn’t peeling off huge reams of viewers. Peak for that show was ‘91-92 through 93-94.

Much more interesting than a long-running series like Law and Order

@BlueGreenGrey I liked it at first and then got bored. i really like caviezal as an actor but those extremist religious nuts freak me out.
