Which horror movie frightened you the most?

Because it was based on a true story, it has to be The Exorcist for me. I've never seen it since or any other film in the same vein. But did certain films with a supernatural theme based on real events make you take on a new perspective on the unknown?

It's hard for me to think of a horror film that actually scared me... Back when I was in grade school and watching Creature Double Feature alone on Saturday afternoon, I think some of the old sci fi things creeped me out. There tend to be more gross out moments for me rather than real scares. I tend not to like serial killer movies or anything with excessive violence. It's just 🤢

@SW-User No, I prefer a decent story without all the gore too.
One I saw not long ago was White Noise with Michael Keaton about EVP, that was a little unnerving!

@BalthazarBlake Sometimes I'll get the chills when watching true ghost stories or documentaries. I suppose it's because I've had so many odd experiences myself.
