A movie I've seen almost 35 years ago

A man sees a new phone booth in his neighborhood, he goes in to make a call but the phone doesn't work and when he wants to get out he can't... The man does everything he can to get out but everything he tries is useless... Little by little the street fills up with onlookers, some people try to help him but they can't do anything to free him... A van arrives, some men come out and disassemble the booth with the man inside and take him away... After long hours they arrive at a warehouse where they leave the booth with the man inside, There he realizes that there are other telephone booths with dying men and others with skeletons...
