What are some good English language movies set in the Far East?

I really like Empire Of The Sun & Platoon- they are quite old now.

Kumandante Liwayway. She was a guerilla in occupied Philippines. The Japanese were terrified of her. Lesson: don't piss off a Filipina!

@GeistInTheMachine She survived the war despite a huge bounty they put on her. Last time I looked up "badass" in the dictionary her picture was there. The Japanese killed her father in front of his family. Liwayway took his murder very personally.
