Suzie Kokoschka in Hey Arnold wasn't that great of a person
I know her husband Oskar was a bona fide bottom dweller, but Suzie wasn't that much better.
1. I'm pretty sure she was cheating on Oskar. In the episode where they had to watch her cousin's baby, Oskar asked her five times for a sandwich and she didn't budge, but one call from Mr. Budnick and she's running over. Makes you wonder.
2. Had a full-fledged tantrum because Oskar ate his cherry tart. She would have had a cherry tart too if she didn't leave her shoes out for Arnold to trip on.
3. Had a full-fledged meltdown that resulted in her throwing plates around her apartment. A 30-something year old woman throwing plates around her apartment. Whatever Oskar did couldn't have been that bad.
4. Oskar is 38 years old and never worked a day in his life, and yet Suzie seems perfectly OK with that. She never told him to get off his ass and get a job. She never threatened to leave him (though, I know she did leave him between Hey Arnold the move and Hey arnold's jungle movie), but still. She tolerated it.
5. For that matter, she's in her 30's and can't fare better than a department store? I'm 31 and lead an accounting department.
