Why people don't like others to play some characters other than their favourite actors/actresses?

I’m guess this Harley Quinn is gonna be a singer .. and this is gonna open up opportunity for Gaga to showcase her talent as a singer and actor as the new Harley Quinn..I will miss Margot Robbie though.. damn that chick is beautiful
