I watched the British one and just finished the US version.
Both were pretty compelling. There were a few differences in the US version I wasn't too sure about. The age range in the US one seemed more narrow. I think the youngest contestant in the UK version was late teens/early 20s, the oldest in their 70s. Also not sure why nearly half the contestants in the US show were from reality shows - I hadn't heard of a single one of them, but I'm sure it was a bit of an advantage/disadvantge for contestants "celeb" & non-celeb alike.

@romper69 I think the "celebrities " were used to draw in viewers. If it does well enough, perhaps they will have more regular contestants.
