These are the 2 films i'm toggling through, one a meditative slow masterpiece by a guy from Thailand, and a 80's slasher, in a weird unexplainable way they are for me meant to be seen together. Like a fine meal, that's the Thai film with a glass of soda pop (the slasher).

1. Uncle Boonmee Who Can Recall His Past Lives - 2010 - Apichatpong Weerasethakul

Suffering from acute kidney failure, Boonmee has chosen to spend his final days surrounded by his loved ones in the countryside. Surprisingly, the ghost of his deceased wife appears to care for him, and his long lost son returns home in a non-human form. Contemplating the reasons for his illness, Boonmee treks through the jungle with his family to a mysterious hilltop cave—the birthplace of his first life.

2. Sorority House Massacre - 1986 - Carol Frank

College student Beth and her sorority sisters are stalked by an escaped psychopathic killer who shares a strange telepathic link with her.
