She was a good actress

What a life. Something like an 80 year career and, from what I can gather, she always did it with class.
A very talented woman in many ways.
I saw her on broadway in Sweeney Todd. I remember thinking to myself ' how does this woman keep up this level of energy and passion night after night, performance after performance?'

I loved her. So sad to hear, but she had an incredible career and life.

My wife and I enjoy watching old movies. Over the years, we have come across a number of British movies in which she appeared in her younger years.

She played a wide range of characters. I will always remember her in the original "The Manchurian Candidate."

A great talent.

Sad news - a very accomplished and versatile actress of stage, screen and later TV.She visited Australia on a number of occasions - the first time to star in a movie made here in Sydney back in 1959.

@Havesomefun2 Very, VERY cheap housing! Plus, there is always somewhere available.

So she's finally passed, Damn. And here I was hoping for a sequel to 'Bed knobs and Broomsticks.'
As far as the stage, she was right up there with the late, great Helen Hayes.

she was beautiful in her youth
and a class act when she died

RIP
