October 1 viewings
This is gonna be the best month of horror and spooky season movie watching ever for me, each film will be a first time viewing, like all movies seen since early September.
Today i might be doing just 5, because i didn't get a long sleep last time, and for 31 days i wanna be going heavy with the movie watching, i can't tire myself out at any time.
1. Next of Kin - 1982 - this was a neat little chiller part of Criterion's 80's Horror curated list, i'm always gonna be biased for 80's movies, they are awesome by default.
2. Hellbender - 2021 - this was super cool, about mom and daughter witches who play rock music and live on a mountain.
3. mother! - 2017 - stand out movie tonight, amazing experience!!
4. The Craft - 1996 - i was so glad i didn't see this before, i thought i might have but if i did i didn't log it in Letterboxd, my preconceived notion of it was that it would be Clueless with Witchcraft, and i guess it was sorta like that.
5. Phantom of the Mall: Eric's Revenge - 1989 - Mall settings are great, and the 80'sness make this a blast!!
