Am I the only one here?

When I was younger and I would watch American movies I always thought they say "ladies and German" and not "ladies and gentlemen". It was so confusing I was like wth is that supposed to mean 🤔

Also I remember the first time I ever heard the word "bullshit" in the movie Speed. I thought it was said "burrshit". In the Arabic subtitles they would type "curse" whenever a bad word comes which didn't exactly help but then you can't really translate "bullshit" literaly in a family movie.

I also misheard things but they are not as funny as your examples i must say 🤣 off the top of my head, I’ve always heard calm down as come down but I really can’t remember much else.. if i do, i will come back and add lol
