I'm taking the approach that this is going to be HBO's redemption to GoT (specifically seasons 7 & 8) so I'm optimistic.

To be honest, the best bit about the final episode of GoT (apart from Drogon melting the iron throne in a biting piece of political commentary) was the characters giggling over the very idea of democracy!
