I've seen it when I was 15 or 16 and don't remember much. Maybe just that both characters and their problems didn't leave strong impression on me. I didn't hate or love any of them. But I really liked the scene where they met in the elevator. I probably should rewatch it.

@CrazyMusicLover it's a pretty good film, probably best to see it now that we're older

@wackidywack I rewatched it now and I have to say it's a movie that stands out. I had a feeling the author was ripping off J. P. Jeunet's style (Amelie) a bit but that's actually what it makes interesting, so I don't complain. I loved the Ikea scene with a Chinese family and the part in the cinema with the references to important movies in the history of cinematography. I still can't relate to either Tom and Summer and don't understand how they thought and why did they behave the way they behaved. So I just felt confused. She didn't look stupid so I doubt she wasn't aware of what she was doing so I assume she was just a callous user. Yes, she was honest with him but she had to see they were not emotionally at the same level and had to sense troubles. I don't understand him why he put up with her shit even after she dumped him and accepted her invitation to a party. So yeah, I don't get either of them and their behaviour slightly irritated me. By the way, when I watched it for the first time, I watched it because someone whose heart I allegedly had broken compared me to Summer. 😂 Only that there had never been anything between us, only some fantasy going on in his head because I liked our conversations online.

@wackidywack Also, excellent acting from the both of them. 👌 She was so good I wondered if she was acting at all. 😆
