Yes. It was amazingly sexy. I'm not a constant tv person, especially then when it was just broadcast or cable, so I miss a lot, and sometime in the 90s I realized that show was gone! Blew me away. It was such an easy way to capture an audience of millions at otherwise sort of dismal ratings periods of the day. Times change. Wouldn't fly at all today. Not even remotely.
