So I think I just remembered what I feel like is a bit of a hidden gem of a movie
I remembered it because I remembered how many people I used to know that loved to watch scary movies and I never understood that because I always thought Slasher movies were kinda braindead in that there were only two outcomes either they get away or they make a mistake and get killed by the bad guy and at the end of the day when the movies over you don't have many thoughts at all, it doesn't stick with you.
The film got a whopping 35% on Rotten tomatoes so it's considered trashy, but this movie surprised me for how good it was for that kind of ratting on rotten tomatoes.
I like it, I like how it's got a nice twist in the middle of the movie.
Meeeeettttt the musical little creatures that hide among the flowers....
and that's when I realized I don't actually hate Scary Movies, I hate scary movies when they fail to make me think.
